I just installed one in my ride today. It seems like the throw is much shorter,as is the overall height of the shifter. A huge improvement over stock. I havent gotten to bang gears hard yet,cuz I am waiting for the gasket to seal, like the instructions say. Anyone else have one? If so,how do you like it? I know everyone is gonna knock me for not getting the Pro 5.0,but trust me,I got a killer deal.

Sweet. Don't worry about the sealant drying. Its not under pressure and won't leak if you bang gears right away.

That is what I use- Power shift the hell out of it. Great feel and not worried about breaking it. Was yours a bolt-on stick or one piece?

Its the one peice one. Anodized blue base, silver stick. Nice unit, very nice looking. Too bad I have all that rubber to keep the dust out,or I would leave it exposed.

You would like the Pro-5.0 or Steeda twice as much if you tried them. You will always like what you have untill you try them all.

The B & M Ripper is a good shifter, but the Pro 5.0 is way better..I owned a Pro 5.0 on my first mustang with a "z"spec T5..when I bought my new mustang I got a b&m ripper for $120. bucks so I tried it for about a year and it is nothing like the Pro 5.0 ....Its all about personal preference, what ever you can hit the gears with!!!.....I'm curruntly running the Pro 5.0 "wikd281" gave me Christmas (What a great friend huh?)
