I am always hearing about stall converters and trans brakes and I have no idea what they are and what the do. Can some one post some general information about them and what their benifits are.

Will say a 2,500 stall hurt driveability what-so-ever? What are the cons? I don't know anyone who has one personally to ask.

All automatic guys should read this web page:

http://www.howstuffworks.com/torque-converter.htm

As for the trans-brake- don't worry about it yet [Smile] It ingages drive and revese at the same time and lets go of reverse when you hit the switch. Its the equivalant of a clutch dump on a stick shift car.
