Does anyone know if you can install an "A" OverDrive servo and 2" Overdrive band without taking out the tranny? I have decided on getting a TransGo Performance shift kit and want to replace the the other big weak link while I'm at it....

Thanks! [Roll Eyes]

The servo can be swapped (by pulling the valve body), but you have to take the pump out to replace the band.

I just got my TransGo kit in today along with my A+ OD Servo and 2" OD band. I was reading through the instructions and was wondering if I should install the green or blue spring in the new capacity valve. It says the blue springs will give extra firm shifts between 1st & 2nd.....If I install 3.73 gears would this become annoying for regular street use....or would it put a smile on my face?

Any feedback would be most appreciated!

i'd go w/ the extra firm....you might bark 2nd everytime it shifts(if your mildly on the gas)
but it will oil it way better.
The more oil the tranny gets...the quicker it shifts.
