Hey I was looking at this product www.spiralmax.com I am wondering if anyone has ever tried this and if they know it might actually work as good as they say it can.

No it doesn't. All it does is restrict the airflow & make the idiot that came up with the thing $$$.
Send the $70 on some underdrive pullies.

I purchased two of these some time ago but have since removed them many months ago.
It's hard to tell if they work. I seemed to notice a difference at about 25-30 mph, then maybe again at about 70 mph. One thing I did notice is that the car ran a little quieter which, depending on what you look for in sound, can be either bad or good.
I will reinstall them this weekend and see I notice a difference. If I don't notice any improvement, I will stick them in my 90 Acura or 90 Honda. If still no difference, I'll modify my lawnmower to see if the horse power increases in it. Should help me cut the lawn faster! ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Believe me, you would definately know if you gained 5+ hp. Think about it, when you first swapped over to a K&N filter the results were noticable.
I quiets the intake noise because it's a blockage.
It's just a gimick.

93Pony is absolutely correct. This stuff is a joke. My buddy Joe and I used to sit in class in high school and just laugh about t. We would get all of the dumbasses who thought their honda was fast to buy it. They ran around saying they were charged now and were gonna smoke me....haha, god it was great blowing thier doors of in front of everyone!! Lol.....memories.......

Results in: They Don't Work! LOL
But I'd be willing to sell them at a discount if you want to see if you have better luck. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
