Thanks Posts: 1482 | From: Santa Clara/Bay area | Registered: Nov 2001  |  : 87Back-N-Black ¯ Member # 325 posted                              on the bottom end of the motor you have your crankshaft. their are caps that hold the crank in place. thoes caps have bolts that screw into the block. some motors use 2 bolts per cap and some use 4 bolts per cap. obviosly 4 is stronger, but 2 is fine as well.
