I was thinking about getting an 87-93 and putting it in there. Am I better off getting an old 4-cylinder or 5.0 liter? Does it even matter since I'd be putting a different engine in it? What exactly is involved in doing it? Ewww. Unless its a serious motor or you're trying to be different, you can get comprable power out of your 302 with a well thought out heads/intake/cam package.
