The car runs like shit! All vacuum lines were put back, the guage goes to 10-12 psi of vacuum during idle. If I step on the gas at all, the car stumbles, loads up, burbles. Tried adjusting fuel pressure didn't help. Does anyone tune their own blown combo? Apex just dialed it in two weeks ago and Byron tunes it next saturday. I want to drive it to the cruise! HELP! He thinks that the stock computer can't handle the 48# injectors. The MAF was just recalibrated last week for a blow-thru application(procharger)for 48# injectors. I wonder if the little screen has to go back in? It ran fine without the screen with the 38# injectors. I'm going to throw the old combo (38# inj. and the old 38#MAF) on just to make the cruise. Apex said to stay out of the BOOST! Why can't Byron be "on call" like a doctor? This next part could/should help you out a lot.... "clock" the MAF. Undo the clamps holding it in place. Rotate the MAF. See what position lets the car run/idle best. I rotated the MAF 180 degrees and that helped a bunch. At lest it's driveable now. I had the sensor rotated upside down to begin with because it was hitting my hood, but now it's cool.It probably didn't help that one of the spark plug boots had corroded to the wire(six months old too!).
