Can you pass smog with long tube headers on a 98 GT, since 2 of the cats would be missing? How do you go about getting around it?

I agree. Just find a garage, pay the $...it's pretty much the only way...cats are overrated

for someone to "clean pipe" it , it will cost about $500 W/ long tubes and cats, and smog pump...you'll pass easy. But there is no EO # for long tubes, so the tech will have to overlook it...most will never notice...just play dumb. But you can ask around if you wanted to. My '89 almost passed w/ long tubes, no cats, and no smog pump.
