Ok, I think I have a fuel pump problem- Last night I heard the car making some noises about 1 minute after the engine is turned off. It sounds kind of like a tink, tink tink. and it does it anywhere up to 8 or 9 times. I got out of the car and noticed it comes from the passenger side of the back of the car, maybe a foot in from the side and a half foot from the rear. is this where the fuel pump is, and if so, why would it be making noises after i turn it off?
thanks guys

i am pretty sure it is not the exhaust since i put my head under the car and listened to it-- it is higher than the pipes an more toward the center of the car....it is pretty lound Plop type sound
