But a 331 with Un-ported Edelbrock Performers, RPM intake, longtubes, & an X303 will have a hard time cracking 300RWHP. Point is, if you're on a budget why spend an extra $1000 on a 331 over a 306? (new balancer, new flywheel, + the cost of the 'kit') There is more to gain from swapping out the heads for a better set & keeping the stock stroke. [/qb][/QUOTE]The reason I went with a 331 is because I got a really good deal on the kit. The Edelbrock heads that I have were going to be ported. The intake I have is going to get some work done to it also which is a edelbrock performer. The reason I am not buying AFR 's is because everyone who said they would buy my edelbrocks heads just kept flaking so I said fuck it. Hopefully when all is done it will run strong. [/QB][/QUOTE]
