so i was driving on the freeway and i see something out of my side mirror bounce on the road. i thought i hit a piece of plastic but when i got home i realized i was missing my fenderwall mounted air filter. i was just wondering if i could could just go to kragan and replace it with a normal k&n or do i have to get a new fenderwall style filter from mac?

No, you'll need a conical style filter and a screw driver to tighten it down next time LoL

LMAO, in my blue coupe I bought a cheapy CAI off of eBay, and it didn't fit right at all.. but I ended up running over my air filter lol. shit was all smashed, kinda embarassing too.

haha i know, im a dumbass...oh well, it was interesting watching it almost nail the car behind me, not nearly as bad as when i forgot to slam the ski racks down and my friends bored caught air on the freeway and did crazy spins(i was like wtf is that black thing flying in the air...oh shit i think that was your board bro)..and mine was on bottom so it stayed on top

If I recall most cold air kits are 3" don't worry about it man. Shit happens to the best of us at times. The filter you got from mac is most likely smaller length wise than most over the counter K&N's. It is this way to clear the fender.

i had a long day with this, its actually requires 4 inch, i tried a three and a half, wouldnt fit, and as long if its no more then 7 inches long it will fit, of course nobody had this so i had to order one
