I know, rarity...I'm posting a question....!
Anyways...anyone running the 17x9 and 17x10 Pony R wheels? If so, what are your tire sizes? Putting together a Fox Coupe, lowered, coil overs. Any help would be appreciated!

^ I ran the same tires on my pony r's but the outter sidewall rubbed a little on the inner fenderlip on the driver side. car is gone now
oh, I had 17x8's up front with 2 steering limiters on each side, so u-turns were a pain in the ass, but do-able lol [ 2015-01-30, 08:33 AM: Message edited by: fredfifty ]

John,
I went with 17x8 up front with 255/40 and 17x10 with 315 DR.
The front fit and looks great. I recommend sticking with 255/40 if you're lowered anywhere from 1.5-2". My vert is lowered about 2" and 315s is a little too much for my setup. It rubbed bad on the fender lips.
It looks great parked, but driving it was a PITA. Stick with 275s in the rear for a good overall fit and aesthetics.

I am running with 17x9 with 255/40/17 in the front with coil overs with 2004 spindles an 17x10 with 275 /40/17 in the rear an dump on all four corners. With foxbody spindles I could only run a 10 inch spring because the rim was hitting the tire with a spacers on the hubs.switched to newer style spindles I can run a 14 inch spring In the front.

It's 1.5" all around, but on coilovers, so adjustments will be easy should there be an issue. I'm thinking I should be ok with some of the tire sizes given here.
