Yup, I whent over it couple times. It starts if I plug a wire straight from the battery to the solenoid tho, so the ground is good I guess

It could be the electrical part of the ignition? Just a guess though

Ignition switch? Sounds like its not traveling from the key to the solenoid

If you have a power probe try and have somebody turn the key and test the wire to the solenoid to see if you get power. That should be a good starting point. Or did you wire up the solenoid right?

^^ I wired the solenoid straight from the battery and engine turns.. I tested the ignition wire and it don't have power, that's we're I'm lost cuz Everything was working fine when I bought it... I had no problem with the ignition switch at all, I whent back over and over checking every single wire from solenoid to the firewall and nothing seams out of place.. Every Ground wire is in place... I'm running out off ideas in what could it be.. [ 2013-05-12, 11:18 PM: Message edited by: El Caballo ]

Dumb question but is the battery good? I've had parts take a shit on me while they were off the car during a swap!! Lol idk how but it happened. In all your carefull ways you may have skipped something simple

Yup for example my entire setup on my car is a SN95 and everthing was working when i removed the dash from the doner and after i installed everything on my 86 it wont crank with the key. The only way i can start it is if i put power to the senoid from the battery. Something could be loose still or it has a bad connection. Try testing with a probe or a voltometer. If you test every wire with the probe you might find your answer.

I hear you it's gana be the smallest dumbest thing messing it up, just have no idea what could it be, and the battery is brand new just bought it a week ago when I got the car...

Also try and find a diagram online to pinpoint the main wires that goes to the ignition to save you some time but it probably would be better to check everything just to be sure every thing that you need to function works properly. Let us know how it goes so we know for future references.
