What is the size of the rear sway bar mounting bolts.its a 89 mustang.thanks in advanced cafords.

NOPE they are not 3/8-16 they are METRIC. I think they are 10x1.50. I could check but the kit posted above should work perfectly. If you need the exact size i will check Monday morning when i open the shop.

i needed sway bar bolts a while back for 91 vert.. 3/8-16 is the size of the bolt on my friends 89 hatch that i used for reference when I went to get new bolts, and it worked perfect on my car.. unless BOTH our cars were one of a kind?!

Sorry you are 100% correct the early Mustang if stock are in fact 3/8-16 X 1 1/4. I checked my mustang this morning at the shop. Later models are Metric. Sorry i stand corrected!! [ 2014-08-03, 06:16 AM: Message edited by: Tom Renzo ]
