Trickflow heads with autolite 3924 gapped a 35. At night i can see #7 cylinder spark plug flashing...

I pulled plug it wasnt cracked. Ima just try replacing it 2mor.. Well see wat happens..

The porcelain can develope hairline cracks that will lead to a miss. It's either that or a wire.

Why dont you switch out the sparkplug #7 with #6 and if spark is now at #6 then its your plug... If the spark is still at #7 after already switching the plug, You can assume its a bad wire. Now do the same with wire #7 and #6 "switch them" but remember to also switch at your distributor aswell for correct firing order. Now if you have a spark at #6 youve found your problem
It doesnt have to be switched with #6 i just said 6, so it can be any other cylinder, which ever is easier.
Also many are complaing about ford racing wires being made cheaper so i guess look for another brand, i use taylor wires and no complain here
Also make sure the plugs you are using are compatible with the trickflow heads, search the web like google to see what brand works best with those heads. Its not always the more expensive the better. [ 2013-10-08, 09:19 AM: Message edited by: Stangn5oh ]
