I am having issues installing my upr Coilovers into my Lakewood struts I was wondering if someone else has gone thru this issue and can guide me on what to do.

The sleeve has play the gap it has doesnt slide all the way in

Even though the notch in the sleeve doesn't fit over the mounting flange, you should still be OK. The sleeve will be sitting a little lower that it should, about 2 threads worth. You'll probably still have enough adjustment range. You will need to hold the sleeve to keep it from turning when you adjust the coil height nut.
How's the other end? Hopefully the sleeve doesn't interfere with the lower mounting bolt otherwise it's a bigger problem. [ 2013-05-13, 09:35 PM: Message edited by: SteveL ]

its just there to keep it from rotating, once the cars weight is on it, it wont move

What me and rasirex did was got rubber ring to make the sleeve tighter on the strut seems to work well u can find the rings in plumbing department

Grind the sleeve notch a little to get it to sit flush.
