my upper and lower sub frames. and stitch welded all the torque boxes with a couple extra plates, 1500 total package,. but a cage will really stiffen your frame from twisting, at least a 6 point tho to do any good.

I have a 4 pt. Bar on my vert and it looks sick!!! I did rear control arms and full legnth subframes with a strut tower brace and the car feels alot stiffer. Any fox that i purchase these will be the first mods!

Get the subframe connectors installed first and try it before adding more parts.
The subframe connectors made a big improvement on my 2001 convertible. Adding a 4 point roll bar did little to no improvements. I added it because many clubs require a roll bar to run the car on a road course. A cage can make the stronger but it needs to tie the front half of the car to the back half and 4 pts don't do that.
If you want to go hard core, the next step after subframe connectors is to add in-car frame connectors.

i wouldnt put a cage in a convertible, it kinda negates the point of even having a vert IMO but i WOULD put in a 6 point roll bar, especially if youre planning on at least running 12's. Anything less than 6points isnt even allowed at the track.
