I've heard people swear by these things. Are they easy to use without harming the paint?

I'm thinking of using to remove old grabber stripes on my maverick. They will be replaced with black ones so it doesn't matter if it leaves a ghost

I used one on my old coupe to take of the stock sticker pin stripe and i was suprised it didn't harm the paint all-tho I was to worried about the paint cause it was getting painted. I would be carefull with it though dont put to much pressure on it. GOOD LUCK
