I cleaned the terminals on my battery last night, and now my car wont start. Thier is power to the Battery, the lights come on and are bright, but when I turn the key the lights go dim and the solinoid clicks like it's not getting enough juice. All I did was take some sand paper to both terminamls and then cleaned them with bakeing soda. I think the problem is with the + termnal, when I conect the + I couldn't get a great conection, so I bought some new conectors and when I conected those it sounds like a fizz noise is comeing from in the battery. WTF could I have done, or what could this mean?????
PS. + & - are both hooked up corectly

Hmmmmm, I don't really know how old it is. I have had the car for a while. Of course, the battery has never given me any problems until I started messing with it.... But I'd have to say about 2 years or less on the battery. Would these be the symptoms of a dead battery? or a messed up starter?????

Replace the battery, yeah I think I will and see what happens. Hopefully that does it.

since you replaced both terminals, I would make sure that both are clean, and make sure the ground is actually grounded, and not just screwed down ovre some paint.... it needs to be a direct metal to metal contact to provide a better ground.

put a volt meter to the battery and see iff you got 12v. then check all grounds from starter and soilnoid block to firewall timimng cover to soilnoid.
