You can't. They're vulcanized onto the window.

the only way to do so is to replace the whole glass!! the molding is incapsulated to the glass!! i have heard of people sanding the moldings down with very fine sand paper when the glass is out the car and after is smooth as a babys bottom they mask off the glass and rattle can it blk!! not sure how it looks but
i will be trying it on spare quarter glasses i have in my garage

I have ( 4 ) sets of notch quarter windows to choose from. Probably one set pretty nice condition in there.....rest are off for repairs to the moldings.
