What’s the difference if you re-built a motor? Is it just like a new motor?
Thanks Calvin

Your basically taking a used shortblock and having it machined 30 over or so and replaced with all new parts.

The down side is that the block has already been machined and it's likely it can't be re-machined at a later date. I think it is a good replacement as you'll get another 100K or so out of the motor.

Any motor that is rebuilt using a stock short block as the foundation. I really like Keith Craft. They make good solid rebuilt short blocks.
