i have an 88 mercedez its a 190e with a 2.3. I installed pads on both the front and rear, next i wanted to bleed the lines(system) but now i have worse pedal than before. is there a specific way or an order of doing them. Does the engine need to be running? please if anyone has any information or can suggest a solution please do so

check that u put the pads the right way any squeking or loud clunking?....does it feel spongey or what?

pads are good. i replaced them because i did have spongy pedal. after i blead them, i lost all pressure and cant get nothing on the pedal now so now im wondering if theres a special way to bleed this type of car.

Hey man thanks a lot. I was on that forum but couldn't find a solution. That looks like it my do the trick, I guess ill post up the results in a few mins while I give it a go........

First start off with the basics. When bleeding brakes you start from passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front then driver front. Pump 3 times, hold then loosen bleeder screw on caliper. You need another person to perform this. Also do not let the brake fluid go below minimum while bleeding. Hope this helps you. If not keep us posted
