any other mods?...
you need to buy an MSd boost timing master....they are much more reliable than setting your initial timing....

if you do not have a boost controller pull the spout connector and lock your timming in at around 20. If it pings back it down.

lock out the advance so the timing is ALWAYS 20 degrees

sorry..set the timming at 20 deg with your spout out. Then do not put the spout connector back in. Just drive your car with the spout removed,this way your timming will always stay at 20 deg. It is safer to do your timming this way on a untuned blower set up.

Im interested in this topic. How much boost can you run safely with a bone stock 5.0 with oem head gaskets on pump gas using a cheapo sn93 ball bearing paxton, 24 pound injectors,255lph fuel pump,adj fpr, f.m.u., and the timing set like explained above? with no btm only 5-6psi right? I know its a silly question but I like knowing the limits of the stock head gaskets.
