hey i just got this problem with my 88 gt. It's almost all stock with a rebuilt motor it has a b cam headers inake and ac and smog delete this morning i started the car and it would not stay on while cold when it warmed up it wouldn't idle right (normal idles at 800 -900 but was idleing at 600 or less) The car would shut off on me at almost every light. I checked my vacuum lines and all are connected. Checked my timing everything was good the car just would not idle right and would shut off and every once in awhile the check engine light would come on. Sorry if this makes no sense im watching bull run. So if you guys ahve any questions just shoot

What did you diconnect in the "smog delete"?....If the check engine light comes on, check the codes....

You could try cleaning the idle air control valve on Your throttle body? I had some idleing problem's with a bad ground connection at the battery before. Good luck!

hey thanks for all the replys i ran some codes on the best today aparently i have a bad mass air flow ground i have an 02 sensor out. Distributor was messed up. Im going right now to replace all that stuff right now. Thank god for alot of spare parts.
hey also where is the ground for the mass air flow where does it go?

did you block off the egr valve?

yeah i blocked all that stuff off. I replaced the mass air with a know working one and distributor and the car still runs like shit coudl the 02 sensor screw so much up. Or could it be my computer and what is teh most tuneable computer that will work with my car
