on a Heads/Intake 5.0 pushing 8lbs what kind of fuel system is needed?
will 42lbs and a 255lph be overkill?
whats the best route to go. and know that this will only be temporary for 4 months or so then upgrading to something major

I got a set of 42lbs already thats why i asked.. would throwing them on there be a problem? with it being overkill and all? or should i just stash them for now and pick up some 30lbs?

Run more boost to make up for the injectors being too big.

you can get away with the 24's with the appropriate maf , fmu ,FPR and a 255lph fuel pump on a stock block...you didn't really state the combo it was going on that might help make a more educated decision also you can find cars with similar setups to what you want to run and check there fuel system build will give you an idea of what your lookin at.

I would say it depends on what heads and intake. Can be a major horsepower difference between a holly intake with AFR's & a typhoon with gt 40p's. If the 42's are going to be big enough for the future setup then stick with what you got and see if You can get by with them. Might get lucky and be able to do without the tune for 3-4 months" until the new setup goes in with some research and fuel pressure and timing adjustment's, I know many member's have gone without a tune & might jump in with some info.

42's and a 255 intank will work for the first...
You'll need the above and a 255 inline pump for the second. Make sure the fuel pressure is around 42-43psi.
