Im debating to build a 351 and swap it. I was wondering would 900 dollars be a fair price for a 351 long block similar to this( 351 engine ) or just buy a bare 351 block off here, cl or pick n pull and buy a piston set and have a shop do the work? Which would be less $$? whats your opinions? Thanks

The link you sent is for a short block and not a long block. If you bought this you would still have to buy heads, intake, timing cover, oil pan, and all accessories (at least new brackets). Also, it comes with a "factory spec" cam. If you are doing any sort of hi-po build up you will want to change that.
EDIT: You will also have to consider all the other parts needed to convert your car to accept the 351w.
Be sure to budget for these things too
I would call a local machine shop and see what they would charge to do a short block. Personally I wouldn't buy an "e-bay" motor unless you *really* know what you are getting. its great that you wanna build a 351, but its not always that cheap (lots of things to factor in), if its cheap power you are looking for, just supercharge your motor. much cheaper and less pain.

motor work is pricy. I would suggest trying to find someone selling an already built 351

Yeah 351 swaps usually aren't cheap.
You need a different distributor, oil pan, lower intake, headers, etc. So those usually outweigh the money you could spend on a 347. Unless you plan on going with a big stroker like a 408.
