ok so here is the problem when the key is on the pump comes on like normal but when i turn off and take key out the pump stays on u can hear it. so there are some loose wires under driver seat i have to play with like tugg and move around then pump turns off anyone know how to fix 1990 coupe 5.0

+1 lol. But I'm more inclined to think your fuel pump relay armature is sticking in the position that gives continuity to ur fuel pump. Your ignition switch provides current going through the coil in your relay. The magnetic field from the relay pulls the armature into a position that powers the fuel pump. When the ignition switch is turned off it kills power going through coil and should move the armature back to the off position. If the relay is sticking in the on position, the ignition switch won't turn the pump off. I'd start with that first before looking for shorts. Pop the old relay out and pop the new one in, start ur car, then cut it off and see if the pump goes out.
