hit a pothole on 7th street last week and the strut shot up and hit my hood about 3 or 4 inches..figured it was change the whole strut and it would be done...finally changed it and when i went to put the car down after i was done, it did the exact samething. the strut went straight up. went and bought the strut mounting and put it on and still the samething.
any1 know watz going on or input? thankz
ps.. car is lowered but doesnt have a lowering kit

got it...the dust cover boot frm the new strut was in the way for the new strut mount. and when they both hit...it moved it out of the way. tried somethings and it worked. thanks for your time
