Heres the combo. Probe pistons, AFR 165 heads(emissions legal), 1.7 rockers, stock lifters. Currently running e-cam. want to upgrade, but not sure which one to go with, and not run into valve clearence problems.

I have an F cam in My 306 and it's OK. I would say custom would be the best thing to do. Also what size engine are We talking about here?

sorry guys about not enough info. I want to stay all motor. I have the typhoon intake, 24lbs injectors, its only a 302. Really looking for some mid to upper range power. Was thinking about an anderson cam (n-41) but damn 3 bills just for a cam? is that normal for a decent cam?

If You are going to through the trouble of swapping it don't You want to get the best cam possible? 300 bill's is'nt much for a performance part. Heard nothing but good thing's about the anderson cam's so buy it and don't look back. You should call them to make sure that one is the best match for You.
