I need some help!! Well I started my car last night after work and it sounded like it struggled to turn on. I look at the battery gauge and it was very low. The next day my car wouldn't start, so I checked the battery and I discovered that one of the wires was corroded because I think I might have spilled some power steering fluid on the part of the wire that connects to the battery. I sanded it down and jump started my car and it started, but the battery wouldn't charge up all the way. It just went a little bit over the red line and wouldn't move any further. What do you guys think the problem is? Do I need to change the wire that was corroded? Or do I just need to get my battery recharged??
