has anyone else seen the new one the is smooth instead of ribbed like the stock one if so please tell me whoe sells i know about the cowl one abc exclusive sells with the mini vents on it but i want the one that is just smooth across there thanks

If you have (or know somebody with) some skill with sheet metal, I imagine it wouldn't be terribly difficult to fabricate one. Just at thought...

I used to have it on my car. It is not a direct bolt-on. It needs a little work. But I think that it looks great.

yeah be so much easier just to order menlo thats the one i found but have you seen the other that isn't like that one its just smooth almost like the hood would be lmk thanks so far guys

Yeah I've seen them...I think there is a guy on ebay that sells them.

I heard those caused rust to get way out of hand on two seperate stangs, both in CA.

Downs Ford sells a sheetmetal plate: JUNK Harwood sells a plastic cover: JUNK
I have ordered both and sent both back. The Downs cover is okay, but it needed significant trimming and leakage into the cowl could be a problem. The Harwood piece looked okay until I put it on the car and it hung over the edges and was much taller than it needed to be. It was also finished in a sorry-looking grainy finish. I'm going to make my own and have it on the market by the end of the year.

Like said before, there's a guy on eBay that sells fiberglass cowl panels that are just flat. He also has some that have a spot for 2 gauges to go.

no problem, i was thinking of buying one. im probably have my friend make me one out of metal, beacuse he owns a metal fabrication shop
