what the hell is the correct way of doing it? i have the rims drilled for the screws, and i was told to just thread them in with the tire inflated. but i do this and the screw just pushes the tire back a little. doesnt seem to be grabbing at all. then i got the brilliant idea to drill the hole. well some worked out ok. but now i have broken 2 drill bits in the god damn tire. and when the second one broke, it made a god damn deep ass scratch in the BRAND NEW RIM please help, as i feel like roling my brand new pro stars and hoosier slicks down my hill

on both sets of rims that i put rim screws in, i drilled with slicks off...
-take slicks off -measure the distance between all drilling spots -use drill bit supplied with rim screws -drill -mount slicks -with a socket wrench and socket, carefully tighten screws in ensuring they go in straight and the head does not break off....
let me know if you need help

Do not bottom screws all the way because they will break like Greg said. I did that, tried to drill it out, and put a hole in my tube! Oh well, live and learn.
