How can I determine if my rear window defroster is working? The switch on the dash lights up when I press it, but the actual defroster on the rear window doesn't work. Does anyone know how I can diagnose this? Any common causes that I can check on that may solve this issue? Thanks!

the rear defrost is just a wire grid, on each side of the window is a connector that hooks up to that grid. Make sure it's plugged in on both sides then take a test light and tap into one of them when you turn it on, if it lights up its good to that point, if not there's a break in the wires going to the window or on the window grid itself.

Thanks, I'll try to test it with a test light

Alot of the times is cause some has broken one of the lines... Or juss bad connections.. Like my boys got ruined when he got the car tinted.
