I've read many different threads about using the Vortech FMU. I did not find a definite answer so I went ahead and installed it. I have a 255lph pump, T-Rex Pump, and 42lb injectors.
With the above combo, IS the FMU needed or can I take it out?

Need to know Your HCI set up, blower type & which pulley or how much boost You are seeing, and did You get it tuned?

My setup: Fordstrokers 347, 10:1, TFS twistedwedge 170 heads (2.02/1.6), GT40 upper/lower, Jay Allen Custom cam, 42lb injectors, 75mm TB, 90mm LMAF, Vortech V3 H.O. kit, AEM Meth Injection, Kurgan mail order tune, 255lph pump, TRex pump. [ December 28, 2011, 08:27 PM: Message edited by: RAP66 ]

Woah! Did Kurgans tune have the FMU considered??? You need to get that sorted out before you drive the car. If it did make sure you find out which ring is being run (4:1 I;m guessing). Im sure Kurgan assumed you had a 1:1 boost referenced regulator but definitely contact him!

Just to update, kurgan replied "No fmu... Straight injector & MAF"
Which is cool, one less piece of clutter under the hood.
