After engine cut off - how long is pressure in the system supposed to remain? Is it normal for pressure to drop within minutes after the engine is stopped?
Also does anyone know of some effective ways to test a stock pressure regulator(fox)? Thanks in advance all.

It varies on the type of pump that's installed. Typically it "should" stay, but some aftermarket pumps bleed off within a few minutes. If you loose it automatically, the internal check valve on the pump is done.
A way to check the regulator? Why a fuel pressure tester...of course!

At a stand still the pressure seems within range - and the car rev's with no problem at a stand still ( a little choppy but will at least get through the RPM range) but while driving it falls flat on it's face under WOT...pulled a code 94 and just trying to find some direction. Thanks John.

Is this on the 5.0 or the mighty 4-banger? The 5.0 may be a old code from your AIR system issues...the 4cyl, the torque converter is on it's way out.

It's the 5.0 - I thought I might have had problems with the air solenoids bc one had a visible crack in it - but that turned out to not be the problem....after replacing the symptoms are still present. Under WOT this thing just falls flat on it's face....RPM's will not increase unless I slowly apply accelerator - then it drives semi-normal.
