Well i just put a new motor in my car.Its 306 with a f-cam,trick flow intake an harland sharp roller rocker an pro comp head with long tubes.Heres my problem,Me an my buddy adjusted the rockers. But they still tick on the pass side.We went over them 4 or 5 times.I know we are adjusting they right. Is this normal. they have the right lenth push rods.I even put new ford racing roller lifters in it.It still makes noise. But runs great. Thanks

How much run time do you have on it? My new lifters took quite a while to pump all the way up and quit making noise.

He only has about 100 miles or less on them, but the new lifters were soaked in oil for a couple days before getting installed.

sometimes its the roller rockers that just make that noise, i have heard some really loud roller rockers before, just give it a lil bit of time maybe if not then try some different rockers

Aren't Fords kinda notorious for making loud valvetrain noise?
