I was looking at some rims and they're at a good price, but I noticed that the offset is +48mm. Will this fit a foxbody with 5-lug (mark VII) conversion?

Depends on the width of the wheel. But +48 is a pretty high positive offset. Sounds more like it is intended for a Japanese car. The high positive offset would tuck the wheels WAYYY into the fenders. As a comparison 17x8 '99 Cobra wheels have a +30 mm offset. The 17x9 replica wheels (Bullits, Saleens, Cobra Rs, etc.) have a +24 mm offset. My '89 Saleen has the Mark VII/SVO brake set up has 18x8.5 wheels with a +30 mm offset. [ March 07, 2006, 01:11 PM: Message edited by: S351-R ]

how "tucked in" are your +30mm offset wheels? I was also thinking about some rims, but they have +35mm offset. Not sure how"in" they will be though...

Enough that they don't stick out. With 245/40/18 in the rear, they fit about flush with the fender. click here

what width are your rear rims? I went with 9.5" rears with a +35mm offset, and was planning on putting some 265-40-18 tires, but not sure if it'll clear

If your running a lincoln disc rear end they will work. Thats actually the offset you need. But if your running ranger axles in the rear it's too much.
