i have an 89 gt bbk adj cable (not bbk quad) i have a two hook quad and a firewall adjuster. cable is on the hook closest to driver and allways pops off? re adjusted it on the trans and firewall still falling off? what is going on?

With a firewall adjuster installed, you need to have it on the hook closest the firewall. The throwout bearing may be sticking on the bearing retainer, I'd check that as well.
