what happen when it was bad?is there a way to check them to see if there bad?

you could have a problem starting the car I think.. and if the air gets hot you could detonate.. I took mine out when my blower went in..

Well I drove my car 30+ miles and didnt notice a difference when it was unplugged. Yet when I plugged it in my car seemed to run a little better.

did it idle funny when you started it up when it was unpluged?

No the idle seemd to be farely good, actaully I had the front O2's unplugged also. I was shocked it ran as well as it did. Learned to not rush shit or you may forget a few things when putting your car back together.

The only way to check your IAT sensor is with a scantool capable of watching PIDS, so a Kragen's scanner won't work. Why do you think your IAT is bad? If you have an open element air filter (K&N, ect.), pull out the IAT and check for contamination, like dirt or dust built up. If it looks dirty I wouldnt try to clean it because if it's dirty it's done for. If thats the case also inspect the wire elements on your MAF sensor because chances are if your IAT is contaminated your MAF is too.
