My boys airbag light keeps coming off and on.What would cause that.

Did someone remove the steering wheel? I know a broken clock spring will cause that.

Yeah, clockspring, or I know Explorers have SRS stuff under the passenger seat that tend to have loose connections. Do Mustangs?

I read on a website once that if the air bag flashes 6 times, then pauses, and flashes another 6 times, it's related to the clockspring.

I've got the same problem in my 95. Damn body shop busted the spring. My horn don't work and my airbag light keeps flashing.
