So I bought a new alternator with rectifier plug connected but wires cut. I need to connect them correctly. There are two thicker black wires with orange/red stripe and one thin wire. Obviously thin wire to thin wire, but the black and orange/slash red ones are same gauge and same color. If somebody could tell me which wire goes to which please. Thank you for your time.

It doesn't matter which black/orange striped wire on the connector goes to each other on the factory harness as they connect together on a single wire that goes to the starter solenoid. They are connected in a "Y" and go to the same location.
