What USUALLY causes the squeaks and squeals on the serpentine belt set up on my "stock as a rock" 1995 5.0 AOD GT? I have tried the WD-40 trick on the idler and tensioner and nothing! The serp.belt looks nice and new I tried the stethoscope thing but I guess I would make a lousy Doctor 'cuz I couldnt diagnose squat !Also seems to get louder or worse when A.C. is turned on or Batt.is low and belt is working harder P.S. The arrow on the tensioner looks to be in the "safe or normal rangeand I tried adding tension to it while running with a pry bar wedged on tesioner and nuttin' !!Any words of wisdom?? Thanks in advance!! [/QB][/QUOTE]

Did you spray anything on the belt? If it goes away its the belt also take off the belt and rock the pulleys to check bearing play and you can also spin them by hand pretty good you'll find it in 5 minutes or less doing this
