I have been having issues with valve covers I don't want to go tall. I have had foxbody valve covers on before but that didn't last to long because adding oil was a pain. Now I have some edelbrock carburetor valve covers but they are cheap tin ones now I'm lookin for another set aluminum or steel. I have 1.6 heartland sharp rockers any help would be great with pics as well.... What valve cover did you use on your 94-95 5.0 [ August 06, 2012, 10:01 PM: Message edited by: VENOMUS PONY 5.0 ]

i use stock valve covers everytime i can, they seal the best are the strongest to most. i remove the inner slash shield. remove 1/8 to 1/4 of the splash shield mounting boss casting. one or all of the mounting holes for sheild have to maybe be drilled a lil deeper. clean after very gd, use a bit of red loctite when replacing the splash sheild mounting screws.

Why not run tall valve covers then??? you shouldn't have clearence issues with that big a spacer. a 3/8 spacer gives enough space
