recently i just got my new motor into my car and hooked everything up the way it should go (90%sure) and its idles at about 600 rpms, but theres some vacuum line issues. from the upper intake(cobra manifold) on the front side towards the passenger side there is suppose to be a vacuum line connected to a canister i believe, is not hooked up but i do not have a canister so what do i do? is that whats causing the low rpms? any suggestions?

That's your purge canister. Check your tps voltage,clean your maf & iac. Also check your idle speed screw.
