I just removed my old cam to install a new one. I have cloyes double roller timing set. But the new dowel doesn't reach the ft of the cam gear. Does this sound right or should i go buy a longer doewl? The one that came out is like alomos all the way out of the cam.

Most new cams will come with 2 dowels one long and one short. It just depends on the chain set. Different manufactures have different spacings. Try and find a long one. I probably have a few laying around. Hit me up if you can't get one.
