Originally posted by highofftiresmoke: [QB] welp the battery light was flashin on and off over and over in my car for quite sometime now. i finally got the time to trace the prob and found that the igniton switch was only connect half way.. just enough to engage but any movement would make the car die. so i fixed it and put it back in and the car started. on the next attempt the start the car would'nt and i smelt something buring and realized it was the ignition switch. so i replaced it today and i don't get any power in any key position. i replaced the key tumbler too and still nothing. i forgot to dicsonnect the battery through this whole process... is it possible i just fried the new switch while installing? or could it be something worse that leads from the ignition swtich? any help or suggestions would be great folks... thanks :patriot: [/QB]
I'd check your fuses first.
