Originally posted by mike g: [QB] hey all i have gotten 2 different FPR over the past few months because none of them fit. So i ended up putting a stock one back on. The reason the other FPR wouldn't fit is my egr valve would hit the FPR so i wouldn't be able to put my TB back on. I have heard that kirban FPR fit like a stock one(ie. no spacers needed). Can anyone confirm this on their 5.0s? thanks, mike p.s. if this double posts sorry the website messed up when i tried to post the first time. [/QB]
I had the Crane for a while and that fit about like stock but it finally gave out and started leaking after only a couple of years. I now have a Kirban and it fits great, looks a hell of a lot more durable (machined body instead of stamped) and has given me zero problems. I would highly recommend it.
