Sounds like a mass air meter problem. If all you did was mount the supercharger you had to move the mass air meter and its probably not calibrated for that location..dyno tune can fix that...good luck! [ August 11, 2002, 05:07 PM: Message edited by: Black94 5.0 ]

If you can try turning the MAF so the sample tube picks up the air better. If it ran fine before its obviously something you touched when mounting the blower.

Well if your mass air meter has hose clamps at both ends of the MAF loosen them and try turning the MAF, but if it happend before the blower it could be someting else. Try checking for exhausts leaks as they often cause "back-fires".check the plugs they can tell you a lot too!

hey we had this problem wit my dad's cobra. the MAF needs to be in a certain position for it to read correctly if its not in that position your car will die and bog like a mo fo. It does it because of the way the air surculates through the pipe making those turns and stuff makes some air move fast than the rest.

I've heard that the c&l dosent work good as a fendermount. You will have surging problems. someone correct me if im wrong.
Also, What is your Fuel pressure at? Might want to check that.Good luck.
