I think you are going to have some paint left over. I painted mine with only 3 quarts.

my cowl is mint. was thinking of painting it too...maybe a flat black? or gloss?

Jdub, Did you tape off your window and door rubbers already or are they that hammered? Look almost grey in color.

just woke up and am headed out to start the hood now. the window rubber looks gray in color from the flash of the camera...it is in pretty bad shape but doesn't look like that in person. Will be guide coating that part anyway.
will get some photos done during the process.
