I say go big or go home so install a new cam or and like the power it will bring or waiste your time using the stock cam to realize that you could have gone bigger.

Imo you need to ask the advice of the manufacturer especially when combining w/ other parts.....i'm sure they will have first hand exp w/ almost any combination

Also i'm not a big proponent of going as big as you can....but i do believe in giving yourself ample room to grow...especially in a daily driven street car.

I had that same combo but ran the stock cam with 1.7 rockers and performed just as good as my friends car with a E cam and B cam. With stock compression and mild heads and trying to be smog legal your not going to gain much with a mild cam.

Its not worth the extra labor of taking off the water pump, timing cover etc..
